Steven R. Newman, M.D.

Steven R. Newman, M.D. is a practicing Emergency Physician with forty-seven years of experience in busy, high-acuity settings providing expert and compassionate care for sick and injured patients in the Sarasota-Bradenton community.  He brings the same drive, listening skills, empathy and attention to detail employed in his medical practice to bear on fulfilling your real estate needs.  The practice of emergency medicine requires focus, discipline and understanding to arrive at a diagnosis and develop a treatment strategy.  Those same attributes are those you want in a realtor. 

Dr. Newman is an experienced real estate investor, having owned properties in Sarasota, Longboat Key, Manatee County, Myakka City and the mountains of North Carolina.  He has a deep, organic knowledge of local real estate opportunities. His passion is helping customers realize their real estate dreams using sound judgment, careful decision-making and decisive negotiation.  He will assist you in developing your property specifications, efficiently locate possibilities and energetically negotiate on your behalf.

He currently treats patients at Boca Grande Health Clinic and volunteers at the Englewood Community Care Clinic.  He served as Medical Director of Sarasota County Emergency Medical Services for thirty-five years.  He is an Emeritus member of the medical staff of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System, and a lifetime member of the Sarasota County Medical Society.
